Concert Choir

Concert Choir is an auditioned large mixed choir made up of Juniors and Seniors and a few Sophomores. Concert Choir will sing music intended for larger choirs including large works, traditional concert pieces and new works. Concert Choir has performed all over the State of Colorado, the U.S. and the world. Members of Concert Choir performed as a part of High Mass at the Vatican in 2015, and have performed at Disney World numerous times.

Auditioning for Concert Choir:

The Concert Choir audition and the Sapphire audition are one and the same. 

There are two parts to the audition

1) Complete a skills audition consisting of Melodic Sight Reading, Rhythmic Sight Reading and Tonal Memory (tonal patterns are played on the piano and sung on a neutral syllable such as 'lah' or 'dah'). 

2) Sing your part to the Bach Chorale available for download below. All parts have been recorded by singers, the student will sing their voice part along with the recording.
