Here’s what the audition consists of:

• Sense of Tonality (10 pts.)

  • Major Scale (2 pts.)

  • Harmonic Minor Scale (2 pts.)

  • Melodic Minor Scale (2 pts.)

  • Major Triad (1 pt.)

  • Augmented Triad (1 pt.)

  • Minor Triad (1 pt.)

  • Diminished Triad (1 pt.)

• Intervals (10 pts.)

  • Sing 3 intervals- (3 pts. each)

  • Identify 2 intervals- (3 pts. each)

• Sight Reading (30 pts.)

  • 2 Melodic examples (10 pts. each)

  • 1 Rhythmic example (10 pts.)
